سفیر اسرائیل در استرالیا اعتراف کرد که کشورش وقتی به جنگ ایران رفت انتظار نداشت ایران تنگه هرمز را ببندد.
هیلل نیومن گفت اسرائیل برای همه سناریوها برنامهریزی کرده بود، اما فرض نکرده بود که ایران عرضه انرژی جهانی را خفه کند.
بستن این تنگه باعث جهش قیمت جهانی نفت شده و فشار بر رئیسجمهور ایالات متحده دونالد ترامپ را افزایش داده است؛ ترامپ که اوایل هفته گذشته اعلام آتشبس کرده بود.

Speaking on the ABC's Insiders: On Background Podcast, the ambassador admitted Israel was surprised by the scope of Iran's response, not the fact that it responded.
