It uses globally accepted and robust methodology developed by the Oxford Poverty and Human development Initiative (OPHI) and UNDP.
Parameters used:
12 indicators under three dimensions- Health, education and Standard of living.
Key highlights:
•51.9% Bihar population is poor, followed by Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh and Meghalaya
• Kerala and TN has lowest population poverty levels.
