A total of 3 additional B-1B "Lancer" bombers, operating as callsigns "PURSE33", "PURSE34" and "PURSE35" have arrived at RAF Fairford (EGVA) this afternoon, bringing the total US bomber fleet to 21 aircraft.

40th Bomber Training Flight from Fairford #FreeIran
--- Operation EPIC FURY / Project FREEDOM ---
Rather helpfully, the solo B-1B "Lancer" bomber from RAF Fairford (EGVA) (which is flying the 40th training mission from the base since the ceasefire began), has been broadcasting it's location for all to see!
This route has been a fairly routine pattern for the training flights, and for many of the 62 bomber missions flown by B-1B and B-52H types during the war in Iran.

Whiskey Pete 2nd Training Flight of the Day #IranWar
B-1B 86-0120 #AE6BFA "Whiskey Pete" has just gotten airborne from RAF Fairford (EGVA) again for her second training flight of today. She departed this morning as "ARIUS55" while her planned wingman B-1B "ARIUS56" 86-0134 #AE6C05 "Thunderbird" did not end up flying.
Now she's back up again as "OWLET65" and was due to fly with a wingman "OWLET66".
