Iran fired two missiles at a US Navy vessel after it attempted to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, the semiofficial Fars news agency reports.

Fars says that the US vessel was "targeted in a missile attack after ignoring a warning from the naval forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran."

Citing local sources, Fars reports that the vessel was hit by the missiles and it was "unable to continue its course following the strikes and was forced to retreat and flee the area."

خبرگزاری نیمه‌رسمی فارس گزارش می‌دهد که در پی تلاش یک فروند شناور نیروی دریایی ایالات متحده برای عبور از تنگه هرمز، ایران دو موشک به سوی آن شلیک کرد.

فارس بیان می‌کند که این شناور آمریکایی «پس از نادیده گرفتن هشدار نیروهای دریایی جمهوری اسلامی ایران، هدف حمله موشکی قرار گرفت».

فارس با استناد به منابع محلی گزارش می‌دهد که این شناور مورد اصابت موشک‌ها قرار گرفته و «پس از این حملات قادر به ادامه مسیر خود نبود و مجبور به عقب‌نشینی و فرار از منطقه شد».

The first of six new Boeing KC-46 refueling planes that Israel has ordered completed a first flight test in the United States, the Defense Ministry announces.

The KC-46 aircraft are to replace the Israeli Air Force’s current fleet of aging Boeing 707s refueling planes, which played a key role in Israel’s wars against Iran.

The ministry says the tankers will be "equipped with Israeli systems and adapted to the operational requirements of the Air Force, enabling it to extend flight range and maintain air superiority across all arenas."

It is not immediately clear when the first plane will be delivered.

وزارت دفاع اعلام کرد نخستین فروند از ۶ فروند هواپیمای سوخت‌رسان جدید بوئینگ KC-46 که اسرائیل سفارش داده است، اولین پرواز آزمایشی خود را در ایالات متحده با موفقیت به پایان رساند.

هواپیماهای KC-46 قرار است جایگزین ناوگان فرسوده کنونی بوئینگ ۷۰۷ نیروی هوایی اسرائیل شوند که نقشی کلیدی در جنگ‌های اسرائیل علیه ایران ایفا کرده‌اند.

این وزارتخانه می‌گوید که این تانکرها به «سیستم‌های اسرائیلی مجهز شده و با نیازهای عملیاتی نیروی هوایی مطابقت داده خواهند شد تا توانایی افزایش برد پروازی و حفظ برتری هوایی در تمامی عرصه‌ها را فراهم کنند.»

هنوز زمان دقیق تحویل اولین هواپیما مشخص نیست.
