As part of the "Economic Fury" campaign, the U.S. Treasury @USTreasury (OFAC) has designated 35 individuals and entitiesfacilitating Iran’s shadow banking architecture. These "rahbar" networks move tens of billions of dollars for the IRGC and the Iranian regime to fund illicit oil sales and weapons procurement.

The "Rahbar" Network System
Sanctioned Iranian banks use private "rahbar" companies to manage thousands of overseas shell entities. Today's action targets the primary rahbars for major Iranian financial institutions:

Bank Sepah: Rahbar Tejari Setareh Taban Kish Company

Bank Mellat: Tejarat Sarir Afrooz Kish Company

An interceptor missile was fired toward a suspected Hezbollah drone that was identified over an area of southern Lebanon where troops are deployed, the military says.

The IDF says the results of the interception of the "suspicious aerial target" are under review.

Sirens had sounded in the border community of Metula amid the incident, though the military says the suspected drone did not cross into Israeli territory.
