Prelims 2025 last important suggestion from my side

Do solve CAPF 2024 paper and CDS 2024 paper one week or 10 days before the Prelims exam.
This will help you to develop UPSC mindset.

https://www.youtube.com/live/QAlWXG36HUg?si=c-f65BD9N0fUcHRj Be ready for this wonderful session with my dear friend Saichaitanya. His journey will inspire many hardworking aspirants. He is the symbol of β€˜Never Give up’.
One thing I wanted to say
Stop running after content and content. Without understanding this exam even if you study 18 hours a day you will fail miserably. I am the best example of such failures. I failed consecutively because of such attitude. Now that is the reason I bring various toppers who can explain the demand of this examination in a clear manner. They will tell not only the reason for their success but also the reasons for their previous failures.

I would suggest every member of channel to go through these live sessions with toppers for better understanding of the process.

If you go to my youtube channel you will find sessions with various rankers. Those 5-6 lives sessions can give you very good direction for your preparation.

One last thing before you start reading any source or material make sure you know the questions asked in Prelims and Mains.
Thank you All!!

Clarification on Language!!

Some students keep asking me to speak in Telugu in my live sessions.

But you don’t know that there are many Non Telugu aspirants or aspirants from other states in my Telegram channel.

you may not understand but i have to keep in mind the needs of each and every aspirant while making these sessions.

Another important aspect you should know that I started this channel exclusively for Sharing my experience and knowledge in UPSC civil services and I don’t have knowledge of other exams and I don’t share much about them.

So i hope you people understand the reason for making Sessions in English language.

However to your surprise when it comes to my personal life I love Telangana dialect of Telugu and I write poems and songs in my mother tongue.

I hope things are clear!! πŸ™Œ

Because of Mentorship programmes I am very much occupied and I am unable to check your personal messages.

For that reason I kept a separate person to answer your queries and issues.
So instead messaging me you can contact this whatsapp number 79812 33531.

If anything important he will inform me and I will reply to you.

One more clarification I previously also clarified that those who are giving Prelims this year can join Group Guidance after prelims exam so don’t worry about that.

One Answer Every Day!!

Those who are preparing for civil services write one answer every day. Within few months you will master answer writing.

Time 9-10 min for 10 marks for first few weeks then later give 7 min. 15 min for 15 marks question initial weeks and later 11 min.

Before writing and after writing just check any topper copy.

Trust my words!!

Many students are failing in UPSC not because they aren't reading, but because they aren't practicing answer writing.

10th class + ias coaching
12th class + ias coaching
Degree + ias coaching
These are not at all suggestive.

Try to enjoy your school and college studies with proper extra curricular activities and sports and don’t be in a hurry.
It will destroy your mental health and common sense.

Those who are doing btech and other degree courses please develop your technical and non technical skills and then if u want to prepare for civils you can start preparation but not at the cost of your academics.

Keep these things in mind.
Majority of Upsc rankers will not encourage such kind of upsc preparation.

Don’t forget
life is much bigger than civil services and your imagination.

Here I'll be sharing how i will solve the final examination paper in order to get qualifying marks for CSE Prelims.

1. First I'll scan whole paper once in the initial 5 mins to absorb the level of toughness and to get calm within.

2. Most of the time subject wise questions are set in blocks of 15-20 MCQs in a one go. So directly attempting questions from your favourite/comfortable subjects make you to solve paper with ease at starting stage. Then you can shift gear as per your convenience

3. I would be solving questions in 3 rounds in 2 hours. First round consists of an easy one with πŸ’―% sure shot. Second would be questions which I can eliminate atleast one option out of four. Third and final round for those that I have zero clarity/knowledge about it.

4. I would be solving 100 questions for 65-70 mins and bubble those that are πŸ’― sureshot. Subsequently during those first one hour I also mark questions which needs to be solved for 2nd and 3rd round. I will allot 35 and 15 mins for 2nd and 3rd round respectively.

4. Will be more cautious in questions which come under easy category due to the chance of making it wrong is high.

5. For medium level and difficult level questions, common sense and logical guessing comes handy. Hence I need to be open minded in solving those.

6. Making myself comfortable by convincing tough questions is difficult for everyone who is giving prelims.

7. Most of the time size of the question is inversely proportional to toughness. So a large size MCQ can be solved easily by identifying the foul in it.

8. Most of the questions cannot be solved directly can be deduced indirectly. The art of solving MCQs lies in how to arrive at correct option indirectly.

Finally it's all about perception and how we look towards the paper as a whole. Majority of aspirants focus on difficult questions which are very few and judge paper as hard in the examination hall itself. However always have that hindsight not to judge paper based on a few random MCQs and believe in the process and UPSC in setting paper very balanced.
