Many institutions have corrupted students’ mindset by creating excessive and unnecessary content for advertisement and attractive purposes. They often make students believe that more content and more resources mean better preparation, and in that process students are pushed to buy courses simply because they are offered a large volume of material.
Because of this trend, many students who message us about the mentorship ask whether we provide multiple materials, PDFs, and resources like other institutions.
That will not happen in my mentorship.
I will provide only six books:
One Mains book for each GS paper
One Essay book
One Mains PYQ solved book

My EKAGRATA Mentorship is about limited resources but deep preparation syllabus-wise reading, proper note-making, multiple revisions, and writing more answers.

Hello Everyone
As I said earlier in the Mentorship Poster
We are going to give the Paper wise and Syllabus Mains material and PYQ solved bookas part of the EKAGRATA MENTORSHIP program. The major reason is to ease the preparation of students by avoiding too many sources for Mains. It will help them to save time and energy and to do more revisions.

I know many students are going through a lot of stress after seeing their marksheets. It is painful, and I completely understand that. Just give yourself some time.

The majority of rankers you see every year have failed multiple times and scored very poorly in their initial attempts. Let me give my own example. I scored 598 marks in my first Mains, and I was completely devastated. In my second Mains, I scored 711, but missed the interview call by a few marks. Again, it was very painful. It was already my 5th attempt, and I had faced many problems.

But I felt that I was close. I worked really hard and finally scored 776 in Mains, which was around the average score of the top 200 rankers. So sometimes it is simply a matter of time.

The same was the case with my Prelims. In my first serious attempt, I scored 78 in GS. In the next attempt, I scored 98 in GS. So just focus on your weak areas and try to understand the exam better.

Have patience and continue to work without expecting results.

Foreign Banks in India

Foreign banks operate in India as branches of their parent banks incorporated abroad, regulated by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

Key Facts
1) Around 45–50 foreign banks operate in India, though their collective share of total banking assets is relatively small (around 6–7%).
2) They primarily serve corporate clients, MNCs, trade finance, and high-net-worth individuals.
3) Major players include HSBC, Citibank, Standard Chartered, Deutsche Bank, DBS Bank, and Barclays.

Regulatory Framework
1) Governed by the Banking Regulation Act, 1949 and RBI guidelines.
Restricted priority sector lending obligations (40% of ANBC, same as domestic banks, but with some relaxations).
2) Must maintain a minimum capital of ₹500 crore for new branch licenses.
3) RBI's 2013 policy allows foreign banks to operate either as branches or set up a Wholly Owned Subsidiary (WOS) — WOS route gives more operational freedom but requires more capital.

So it is the previous year's questions which are like the syllabus for Prelims exam.
So first read Ncerts ( selective) and last 6-7 years Pyqs themes content.
Don't read random topics..I have said this again and again.

Very soon I will be sharing Prelims Quick Revision materials for Science and technology and Environment subjects.
They will have some basic concepts, Pyq based content and Current affairs content. It will be around 100 pages each booklet.
