Neem tree is highly valued in Hindu orthodoxy. In the ancient Ayurvedic text, Charaka informed that those who rest in the shade of a neem tree during the day will live a healthy and long life. Medical science describes the neem tree as the goddess of home health, while Indian mythology considers the neem tree as a Goddess Lakshmi. According to the lunar calendar, the spring season begins with the Chaitra Shukla Padyami Tithi Ugadi festival. On that day oil ablution followed by neem paste is received as prasad. Tantra scriptures mention that there are many mystical mysteries associated with this neem tree. Among such things, let's try to know a wonderful process that is practiced during Rahu period on Friday to get the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi.
Two spoons of black sesame seeds are put in a new small cloth of blue or black color and tied with a blue or black thread. And every Friday during Rahukala (10.30 am to 12:00 pm) one should stand behind the neem tree. That means our face should be towards east. There should be a neem tree in front of us. The corner of this black sesame should be placed on the bark of neem tree and covered with the right hand so that it does not fall. Also the left hand should be kept touching the tree. At that time you would pray to Goddess Lakshmi properly and then keep the small bundle firmly in a clean place in the house. Returned the next week and went with the small bundle and practiced as usual . Even if there are more than one person in a household, a small package is sufficient. At one time one practiced the next, without falling down the bundle was received by the second and practiced touching the tree.
Whenever the package fell down, it was immersed in water. Again another small package is made. Accordingly, this bundle is called divine treasure in spiritual terms. Once the deity is made of cloth its time limit is only 11 weeks. After 11 weeks, soak the sesame seeds in the cloth in water or sprinkle them in the open space.
During this ritual, try to worship neem tree with yellow horns as much as possible on Friday with the Uttara Nakshatra. Care should be taken to ensure that the divine treasure does not fall from the hands to the ground.
