Coffee Day Global admitted corporate insolvency after failed negotiations with IndusInd Bank.The Bengaluru Bench of NCLT approved the bankruptcy case.

In January 2023, SEBI imposed a ₹26 crore penalty on the company for diverting ₹3,535 crore from 7 subsidiaries to a promoter-related entity, Mysore Amalgamated Coffee Estates Ltd.
