This is the main street of Húsavík. It is called Garðarsbraut, "Garðar's road". Garðar was the Viking who first settled in Húsavík Bay, more than 1100 years ago, the first man EVER to spend a winter in Iceland. Now his road has become a Red Carpet. History in the making!
