I sit beneath
the Cherry Tree
to whisper soft
a prayer
It’s splendour
so enamours me
Sweet nature’s
gift to share
I pluck a blossom
from it’s depth
a floral smile
to wear
Pink satin to adorn
my drab Winter hair
