Just walking, getting iced Americanos, and arguing about where to go. “I want somewhere with plants,” I said. “Nah, I found this dope French door situation with a lot of natural light,” he countered. He usually wins because his eye for locations is sharper than my coffee.

At the location—a quiet indoor nook near the park, I found a nice window ledge with sheer curtains. I sat there, clutching my bag like a shield, while my brother went into full director mode. He was relentless, demanding I nail that specific ‘just missed my train’ energy until we finally caught that effortless look.

When we swapped, he flipped the switch, staring out the window like a lead in a noir film while I captured the mood. We finished the day hunched over our phones, trading jabs about expressions and coat details—standard brotherly banter that made the whole afternoon worth it.
