How many medals did India win at Commonwealth Games 2026?

India won 39 medals at Commonwealth Games (CWG) 2026, including 13 gold, 17 silver and nine bronze medals. Boxing was India’s most successful sport, contributing seven gold and three silver medals. Athletics contributed 10 medals (five silver and five bronze), while weightlifting added eight. India also won six medals in para athletics, four in judo and one in para powerlifting.

Pakistan deploys 250 Chinese howitzers along India border

After losses during Operation Sindoor, Pakistan has deployed 250 Chinese SH-15 truck-mounted self-propelled howitzers along its border with India, as per reports citing intelligence sources. The 155mm/52-calibre artillery platform can fire standard Nato-compatible ammunition to ranges of around 30-40 km, while rocket-assisted V-LAP projectiles can reportedly strike targets around 53-72 km away.

July turns Pak's deadliest month, 606 killed in terror-related violence: Report

How many cases are pending in Supreme Court & High Courts in India?

The Supreme Court has 96,024 pending cases, out of which 10,094 cases are over ten years old, Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal told Rajya Sabha in a written reply. All the High Courts have a combined 64,72,536 pending cases, including 80,660 cases that are over 30 years old. Over 4,52,152 pending cases in High Courts are over 20 years old.
