30 Indians working illegally as truck drivers in US arrested, face deportation

About 30 Indians living and working illegally in US have been arrested and are set to be deported. All were employed as semi-truck drivers and were apprehended in Arizona along with nationals from Mexico, El Salvador and Russia, US Customs and Border Protection officials said. Most possessed employment authorisation documents obtained during Joe Biden's administration that are no longer valid.

South Korea overtakes India as world's 6th-largest stock market

Govt revises rules, foreigners must register before 180-day stay limit ends

The Centre notified changes in Immigration and Foreigners Rules, 2025. The foreigners coming to India on a visa for 180 days or less must now register themselves any time before expiry of 180-day period if they wish to stay beyond visa duration. The new rule replaces earlier requirement to register within 14 days after expiry of 180 days from arrival.
