Google shows rival brands when users search 'Hindware', ordered to pay ₹30 lakh by HC

The Delhi High Court has fined Google ₹30 lakh for allowing 'Hindware' trademark to be used as a keyword in its AdWords programme without the brand's permission. The sanitaryware brand claimed that when users searched for Hindware on Google, the platform displayed rival brands like Grohe and Cera. The court rejected Google's argument that it was acting as an intermediary.

Which states have the most obese men & women in India?

Goa has the most (43.6%) obese men in India, followed by Sikkim (42.6%), Andhra Pradesh (41.5%), Tamil Nadu (38.8%) and Punjab (37.5%), according to the latest National Family Health Survey (NFHS-6) 2023-24. Most obese women are in Andhra Pradesh (47.9%), Sikkim (47.5%), Kerala (46.7%), Goa (45.1%) and Punjab (44.7%). Meghalaya has the least obese men (15.6%) and women (13.8%).
