2,000 police officers deployed for India-Pak T20 WC match in Colombo

Approximately 2,000 police officers and 600 traffic personnel have been deployed to maintain security and regulate traffic for the India-Pakistan T20 World Cup 2026 match in Sri Lanka's Colombo, reports claimed. Indian intelligence agency Research & Analysis Wing (RAW) and security personnel also arrived in the city to provide security for Indian players and spectators, Sri Lanka Mirror reported.
