'End of life' vehicles found in public places in Delhi to be seized & scrapped

'End-of-life vehicles' (ELVs), that is, diesel vehicles older than 10 years and petrol vehicles older than 15 years found in public places in Delhi, will be seized and scrapped without notice, the transport department said. Such vehicles under BS-III are already banned in Delhi, and the department has advised owners to obtain NOC to move old vehicles out of Delhi.

Speeding Thar rams into police vehicle near Bihar CM Nitish's home

A speeding Thar rammed into a police vehicle in Bihar's Patna near CM Nitish Kumar's residence on Sunday. One police personnel was injured in the incident.
