Thackerays sowing poison: BJP after student suicide in Marathi row

After 19-year-old Mumbai student Arnav Laxman Khaire died by suicide after allegedly being thrashed by 4-5 co-passengers in local train for not speaking Marathi, BJP accused Uddhav and Raj Thackeray of fuelling language politics. BJP's Ameet Satam said "poison they're sowing" causing such incidents. This isn't first case of non-Marathi speakers being assaulted in Maharashtra.

Zomato criticised for allowing user data-sharing with restaurants

Food delivery platform Zomato has agreed to start sharing customer data with restaurants upon receiving consent, sparking concerns over user privacy. Researchers have created a realistic model of the bone marrow, known as the "blood factory" of the body, entirely from human cells. For the research, which was published in the journal Cell Stem Cell, the team reprogrammed the human cells into stem cells.
