Man climbs Delhi Jain temple roof, steals 'kalash' worth โ‚น40 lakh

A man stole a gold-plated Kalash worth approximately โ‚น40 lakh from the spire of a Jain temple in Delhi on Friday night. Police said that the 'kalash' weighed around 25 to 30 kilograms of copper and gold lamination. The accused scaled the roof of the temple using electric wires, reached the spire and fled after removing the gold-plated 'kalash'.

Man killed by wife over property dispute in Jharkhand

A woman in Jharkhandโ€™s Chanho village murdered her husband over a property dispute and buried his body in a well with the help of her relatives. Gold could hit โ‚น3.1 lakh per 10 gram by 2028: Economist

Economist Ed Yardeni has said he expects gold prices to climb to $5,000 levels (per ounce) by end of 2026 and potentially reach $10,000 (over โ‚น8,87,000) by 2028.
