3 Qatari diplomats killed in car crash ahead of Gaza summit in Egypt

Three employees of Qatar's Amiri Diwan, its top government body, were killed and two others were injured after their car overturned about 50 kilometres from Egypt’s Sharm el-Sheikh, Reuters reported. The victims would be repatriated on Sunday to Doha. Notably, the city is set to host a global summit on Monday aimed at finalising the agreement between Israel and Hamas.

Shyam Benegal given posthumous Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award
