Pakistan Air Force strikes Afghanistan's Kabul

Pakistan Air Force (PAF) struck Taliban-ruled Afghanistan's capital Kabul on Thursday night. Afghan-Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid confirmed an explosion was heard in Kabul but added, "No report of any damage has been given." The strike came hours after Pakistan Defence Minister Khawaja Asif threatened Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), saying, "Enough is enough, our patience has run out."

India will be upgrading its technical mission in Afghanistan's Kabul to full embassy status, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said during his meeting with Taliban-ruled Afghan government's Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi. According to the latest IUCN Red List, 48,646 species are threatened with extinction. That represents 28% of all assessed species, the IUCN stated.
