Israeli missile hits children collecting water in Gaza

At least eight Palestinians, most of them children, were killed when an Israeli missile hit them while they were collecting water in Gaza. Israel's military said it intended to hit a militant in the area but a malfunction caused the missile to fall "dozens of metres from the target". Israel added that it "regrets the harm caused to uninvolved civilians".

IMD issues red alert as heavy rain hits Delhi-NCR

Heavy rain hit Delhi-NCR on Sunday evening as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a red alert for several areas. The department predicted intense to very intense rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning over Southwest Delhi and other parts of NCR from 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm. Gusty winds with speeds of 40-50 kmph were also expected in the region.

Plane crashes moments after take off at London airport

A Beechcraft King Air B200 plane crashed just after taking off from Southend Airport in London. Photos of the small passenger plane in flames are being circulated on social media, with witnesses saying it went up into a "fireball". The plane was scheduled to fly to Lelystad in the Netherlands, according to initial reports.

14-15 countries have demanded BrahMos missiles after Op Sindoor: Rajnath Singh

Around 14-15 countries have sought to procure BrahMos supersonic missiles after their use in Operation Sindoor, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said. The missiles did a "miraculous job" during the operation, he said, adding that they'll now be exported from Lucknow as well, after the inauguration of a new facility there. BrahMos was jointly developed by India's DRDO and Russia's NPOM.

Missing 19-year-old Tripura girl found dead under flyover in Delhi

The 19-year-old Delhi University (DU) student from Tripura, who had been missing for six days, has been found dead under a flyover, police said on Sunday. Sneha Debnath's body was found under the Geeta Colony flyover in the Yamuna river, Delhi Police said in a statement. A suicide note was earlier found in her room.
