Baloch Liberation Army takes control of Pak's Surab, hrs afters Asim Munir visited nearby city

Baloch Liberation Army spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch claimed that their forces have taken complete control of Surab in Balochistan. "Fighters have seized key government installations, including the bank, levies station and police station. Snap checking and patrolling are also underway on...highways," he said. This comes hours after Pakistan Army chief Asim Munir visited the nearby city of Quetta.

MI eliminate GT from IPL 2025, to face PBKS for place in final

MI defeated GT by 20 runs in IPL 2025 Eliminator in Mullanpur on Friday. With this, GT have been knocked out of the tournament, while MI will face PBKS in Qualifier 2 on Sunday for a spot in final. Colombia withdraws statement condemning Pak deaths in Op Sindoor as India objects

After Congress MP Shashi Tharoor criticised Colombia for its statement condemning Operation Sindoor deaths in Pakistan, the country has withdrawn it. Colombia said it has received "detailed information" on India-Pakistan conflict and the Pahalgam terror attack, adding, "We can also continue the dialogue." Active COVID-19 cases in India cross 2,500; state-wise list released

The number of active COVID-19 cases in India has risen to 2,710, the latest Health Ministry data showed. Kerala recorded highest number of cases, with 1,147 active infections, followed by Maharashtra (424) and Delhi (294). Gujarat has 223 active COVID-19 cases, while Karnataka and Tamil Nadu have 148 active cases each. Govt data showed over 1,000 cases on May 26.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in India has risen to 3,395, updated Health Ministry data showed on Saturday (May 31). Astronomers from International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research, in collaboration with international teams, have discovered a mysterious object that is firing strange signals at Earth from deep space. The object, named ASKAP J1832-0911, emits bursts of radio waves and X-rays continuously for two minutes every 44 minutes. "This object is unlike anything we've seen before," an astronomer said.
