Chipmaker Nvidia overtook Microsoft to once again become world's most valuable company by market capitalisation. As of Thursday, Nvidia's market capitalisation stood at $3.427 trillion, following an over 6% rise in share price over the past five days, while that of Microsoft stood at $3.388 trillion. Nvidia's capitalisation saw a $185-billion rise in intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday.

India's economic growth hits four-year low of 6.5% in FY25

Government has released India's provisional estimates of GDP for FY25 and the January-March quarter.
