John Abraham buys bungalow for ₹84 crore in Mumbai

Actor John Abraham has bought a freehold bungalow for ₹84 crore in Mumbai's Bandra West locality. The property occupies a 1,017.60-square-metre plot and includes a 193.12-square-metre bungalow and a 31.50-square-metre outhouse. Abraham paid ₹5.04 crore in stamp duty for the transaction. In December 2023, he had bought a ₹70.83 crore bungalow in Mumbai’s Khar area.

Police file 5 FIRs over violence during CJP march, to examine over 250 videos

Delhi Police have filed five FIRs so far at the Parliament Street and Connaught Place police stations in connection with the alleged violence and vandalism during the CJP-led protests. FIR was also filed over the alleged flying of a drone without permission in the New Delhi district. The police will examine over 250 videos to identify those involved in violence.

SBIFM, India's largest asset management firm, lists at 7% premium

Govt reveals it pays ₹70 to buy a litre of ethanol for E20 & only ₹45/litre to buy oil for petrol

The government told the Parliament that OMCs procured 705.43 crore litres of ethanol for ₹49,577.36 crore from April 2025-June 2026, which brings ethanol procurement price for E20 to ₹70.27/litre. As per government data, the international price of crude oil (Indian basket) stands at $74.8/barrel in July. This means that the government pays ₹45.31/litre to buy crude oil for petrol production.

Leopard storms liquor shop in Raj & attacks shopkeeper, video surfaces
