2 CBI officials get 3-month jail for raiding IRS officer 26 yrs ago

A Delhi court sentenced two CBI officials to three months' imprisonment for conducting an illegal raid and arrest of IRS officer Ashok Kumar Aggarwal in 2000. The convicted officers include Joint Director Ramneesh Geer and retired ACP VK Pandey. They were found to have acted with "mala fide intent" and exceeded their authority by arresting the officer in "undignified manner".
