2,550 CAPF companies deployed for Bengal phase 2 Assembly polls

Ahead of the final phase of West Bengal Assembly polls, 2,550 companies of Central Armed Police Forces have been deployed to strengthen election security, CRPF IG Shalabh Mathur said. He added that every polling booth will be manned by CAPF. Over 6,000 Quick Response Teams are in place, along with control rooms and body-worn cameras for real-time response, he said.
