Trump extends ceasefire with Iran

US President Donald Trump announced that he is extending ceasefire with Iran with no set deadline. Calling the Iranian government "seriously fractured", Trump wrote ceasefire would continue until Iranian leaders submit a "unified proposal". Trump added he has directed US military to continue the naval blockade on Iran's ports and "remain ready and able" to resume the war if needed.

A group of unauthorised users gained access to Anthropic's most advanced AI model Mythos, which it restricted for use as it claimed the model was too powerful, Bloomberg reported. Anthropic is investigating the report's claims and has so far found no evidence that unauthorised users affected Anthropic's systems. The group has been using Mythos regularly since gaining access to it.
