PM Narendra Modi has broken the record of former Sikkim CM Pawan Kumar Chamling to become the longest-serving head of a government in India. Chamling served as CM for 8,930 days and PM Modi has now completed 8,931 days in public office, which includes his tenure as Gujarat CM. "This is a rare and remarkable feat," said BJP's Amit Malviya.

AI cow collar startup behind ‘Cowgorithm’ eyes $2 billion valuation: Report

Halter, a New Zealand-based startup making AI-powered collars for cows, is in talks to raise funds at a valuation of over $2 billion, Bloomberg reported. Billionaire Peter Thiel's VC firm, Founders Fund, is set to lead the round. Manipur CM meets Kuki-Zo leaders for 1st time since 2023 violence

4 Assam police personnel injured in suspected ULFA-I attack on camp

175 injured in Iranian missile strikes on Israel's Arad, Dimona

At least 175 people were wounded in Iranian missile strikes across southern Israel, according to Soroka Hospital. In Arad, 115 people were injured, including nine in serious condition, with 31 hospitalised. In Dimona, 60 were hurt, including a critically injured 12-year-old. What PAN card-related changes will be effective from April 1?

People applying for a new PAN after April 1 will need to submit additional documents as proof of birth date, like birth certificate, voter ID or passport, apart from Aadhaar card. New PAN application forms will replace old ones, and PAN will now be required for cash deposits/withdrawals exceeding ₹10 lakh/year. Property transactions exceeding ₹20 lakh will also require PAN.
