Dawood Ibrahim's Maha plots sold after 4 failed attempts in 9 yrs

Four ancestral lands belonging to underworld don Dawood Ibrahim Kaskar, mastermind behind 12 coordinated bombings in Mumbai in 1993, have been sold after four failed attempts. All four plots are located in Mumbake village in Ratnagiri district. All four land parcels went to a Mumbai-based bidder. Notably, efforts were made in 2017, 2020, 2024, and 2025 to auction these properties.

All 5 building blocks of life found on space rock

Scientists have discovered all five nucleobases (adenine, guanine, cytosine, thymine and uracil), the molecular building blocks of DNA and RNA, in samples from asteroid Ryugu. The samples were collected by Japan's Hayabusa2 spacecraft, which landed on the asteroid in 2019 and returned around 5.4-gram of material to Earth in 2020. It's the second asteroid confirmed to carry all nucleobases.
