LPG bookings decline by 12 lakh in 24 hours as govt urges no panic

LPG bookings fell to about 77 lakh bookings on March 14 from 88.8 lakh on March 13, according to Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. This followed the government's appeal to citizens to avoid panic booking, noting that no LPG distributorships reported dry-outs. Additionally, India is expected to receive about 92,712 metric tonnes of LPG through the Strait of Hormuz.

LPG tanker Shivalik arrives in India 2 days after crossing Strait of Hormuz, 1st visuals out

LPG tanker Shivalik has arrived in India two days after crossing Strait of Hormuz from Persian Gulf. The vessel was escorted by Indian Navy and is carrying over 40,000 metric tonnes of LPG to India.
