'What's point of life without love?' Kamla Pasand owner's daughter-in-law wrote in her diary

A diary has been recovered from the room of Deepti Chaurasia, Kamla Pasand owner Kamal Kishore's 38-year-old daughter-in-law who died by suicide. "If there's no love and trust in a relationship, what's the point of life?" she reportedly wrote in her diary. An investigator claimed that Deepti hadn't blamed anyone, and neither did the diary contain any names.

A local religious leader was arrested from Uttarakhand's Haldwani for his alleged links to suspected Delhi car bomber Dr Umar Nabi, reports said on Sunday. Maulana Mohammad Asim Qasmi, the Imam of Bilali Mosque, was reportedly detained at around 2:30 am on Saturday. Qasmi was traced after police tracked the call detail records of Dr Nabi, reports said.

74,000 Indians leave UK amid stricter immigration rules, net migration drops 80%
