A 35-year-old man was hospitalised after suffering an electric shock while withdrawing cash from an ATM in Tamil Nadu's Kancheepuram. Guide abandons tourists for 90 minutes in Ranthambore tiger safari

In a serious case of negligence at Rajasthan's Ranthambore National Park, a group of tourists, including women and children, were left stranded in tiger territory for nearly 90 minutes after their safari vehicle broke down and the guide allegedly abandoned them. The Mumbai airport customs officials arrested two passengers for allegedly smuggling hydroponic weed worth ₹8.56 crore from Bangkok. Qantas fined ₹515.5 crore for laying off 1,800 employees illegally in Australia

An Australian court has imposed a $59 million (about ₹515.5 crore) fine on the country's largest airline Qantas for illegally laying-off 1,800 ground staff during the COVID-19 pandemic. The court said it wanted the penalty to be a "real deterrence" to firms tempted by financial rewards of breaking employment law. The 104-year-old airline last year agreed to ₹683-crore compensation too.
