Used Aadhaar for Covid vaccine? Modi govt created your digital health ID without asking you

Modi announced roll out of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission this week, but registering on CoWin with Aadhaar has created digital health IDs for scores of Indians, seemingly without consent.

In case a person used a different identification document to register on CoWin, such as driving license, PAN or passport, the health ID has not been generated. The CoWin platform accepts six types of IDs, apart from Aadhaar, to register people.
