🍿 Coppola’s Epic Comeback: ‘Megalopolis’ Drops Stunning Final Trailer After Controversy

📆 Release: September 23, 2024 (IMAX) · September 27 (Theaters)
🎭 Genre: #SciFi · #Drama

🔥 After the uproar caused by the first trailer, which was pulled for using fake critic quotes, Francis Ford Coppola is back with a fresh trailer for Megalopolis—this time, free of drama! In this modern epic, Adam Driver plays Caesar, a visionary architect trying to rebuild New Rome 🌆 after a disaster, facing off against Mayor Cicero (Giancarlo Esposito), who defends a corrupt system. Nathalie Emmanuel, as Julia, the mayor’s daughter, is torn between love for Caesar and loyalty to her father ❤️⚔️.

With an all-star cast featuring Laurence Fishburne, Aubrey Plaza, and Shia LaBeouf, this trailer 🚀 resets expectations for Coppola’s decades-long passion project. 🎬 After its lukewarm reception at Cannes, the director aims to redeem his legacy with a visually stunning and ambitious film. 🌟

🍿 'Mickey 17': The Clone That Won't Quit and Dies Over and Over Again

📆 Release: March 7, 2025
🎭 Genre: #SciFi · #Thriller

I love how Mickey 17 blends the suffocating atmosphere of Moon with the dark humor of Snowpiercer. Robert Pattinson (The Lighthouse, Tenet) plays an "expendable" forced to die repeatedly while his boss prints new copies of him aboard a ship headed to a frozen planet. 💀🔁

How will Mark Ruffalo (Poor Things) fare in what seems like a villainous role? We'll also see Toni Collette and Steven Yeun embracing their wildest sides. Director Bong Joon Ho, the mastermind behind Parasite and Okja, dives back into his signature dark comedy vibe. On top of it all, Naomi Ackie (Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker) adds a romantic touch to counterbalance the chaos.

Let's see if this adaptation can outdo the limitations of the original book and if the "Batman in space" vibe 🦇🚀 delivers memorable moments. Without a doubt, dying repeatedly has never looked so fun.

🍿 'Mickey 17': Dying Over and Over for a Paycheck

📆 Release: March 7, 2025
🎭 Genre: #SciFi · #Thriller

It's hard to accept that 'Mickey 17' is becoming one of those inexplicable cases where quality and box-office success don't align. This film marks Bong Joon Ho's highly anticipated return following his monumental success with 'Parasite', which elevated him to cinematic greatness, earning four Oscars and a Palme d'Or.

This time, the South Korean genius blends the dark satire of 'Snowpiercer' with the sharp social and environmental commentary he explored in 'Okja', delivering a futuristic dystopia as amusing as it is thought-provoking.

🍿 Primitive War: Dinosaurs, Napalm & Mayhem in the Jungle

📆 Release: Summer 2025
🎭 Genre: #Action · #Horror · #SciFi

A special ops squad deep in the Vietnam War stumbles upon an unthinkable enemy: dinosaurs. 🦖🔥

That’s the wild premise of Primitive War, Luke Sparke’s (Occupation Rainfall) brutal, high-concept adaptation of Ethan Pettus’ cult novel. Ryan Kwanten (True Blood), Jeremy Piven (Entourage), and Tricia Helfer (Battlestar Galactica) lead this gritty survival-horror where raptors with feathers and towering predators turn the jungle into a prehistoric nightmare. 🦖💥🌴

The trailer looks 🔥 and honestly? It gives off serious Predator meets Jurassic Park vibes. The dinosaur designs are sharp (yes, with feathers!) and the tone leans hard into chaos, gore, and intensity. If 65 disappointed you—this might be the redemption arc we needed. I’m all in.

🍿 Love, Death & Robots Vol. 4: dinosaurs, demons & cats with attitude 🦖🔥🐈

📆 Release: May 15
🎭 Genre: #Animation · #SciFi · #Horror
🍿 Follow Series

Love, Death & Robots is back and as unhinged as ever. Volume 4 drops ten brand-new shorts that go from gladiator T. rexes to fire-breathing demons, grumpy cats, and overworked appliances 🤯. Tim Miller (Deadpool) and David Fincher (The Killer, Mindhunter) are once again pushing the limits of what adult animation can be—with Jennifer Yuh Nelson (Kung Fu Panda 2) returning as supervising director.

Visually, this is the most diverse volume yet: 2D, stop motion, hyper-stylized CG... it’s all here. I’ll miss the Three Robots, but the spiritual sequel to Night of the Mini Dead looks hilarious. Like always, not every short will hit the same—but when LDR lands, it hits hard.

🍿 ‘Fantastic Four: First Steps’ — A cosmic threat, a baby on the way... and Galactus in boots!

📆 Release: July 25, 2025
🎭 Genre: #SciFi · #Adventure
🍿 Follow Movie

Marvel is finally doing right by its First Family. Pedro Pascal (‘The Last of Us’, ‘The Mandalorian’) leads a stellar cast with Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (‘The Bear’) in a retro-futuristic 1960s Manhattan where they’re the only heroes around. 🌀

The trailer gives us a lot: Sue is pregnant (are we getting Franklin Richards?), and Julia Garner makes her debut as the Silver Surfer — not Norrin Radd, but Shalla-Bal, his partner in the comics, now reimagined as Galactus’ herald. 🪐

And yes, Galactus finally shows up with a body, armor and full presence. No more weird cloud nonsense — he’s stomping through New York like a true cosmic god. 👣🔥

🍿 Predator: Badlands – The Predator’s got a makeover… and a heart?

📆 Release: November 7, 2025
🎭 Genre: #SciFi · #Action
🍿 Follow Movie

Dan Trachtenberg (Prey, 10 Cloverfield Lane) returns to shake up the Predator universe once again. In Predator: Badlands, the tables turn — a young outcast Predator teams up with Thia, played by Elle Fanning (The Great, Super 8), on a hostile alien planet. Fanning pulls double duty, playing twin sisters — and one of them might be a Weyland-Yutani android 👁. The aesthetic is gritty, weirdly emotional, and yes, the Predator has main character energy (and a killer hairstyle). 😎

I’m intrigued by the bold direction, but here’s the question: does humanizing the Predator risk stripping away the fear that made him iconic? Or is this exactly the fresh angle the franchise needed to evolve past its own formula?

🍿 Alien: Earth: Five cosmic horrors crash-land on our planet 🌍👽

📆 Release: Summer 2025
🎭 Genre: #SciFi · #Horror
🍿 Follow Series

Alien: Earth looks like the revival the franchise desperately needed. Noah Hawley (Fargo, Legion) flips the Alien universe on its head by bringing the nightmare straight to Earth in 2120, now ruled by five mega-corporations. 😱 The first teaser, Gestation Complete, channels the retro terror of Alien (1979) with a chilling new xenomorph birth and makes it clear: this won’t be just another "bug hunt." The series teases five deadly alien species while preserving that suffocating atmosphere we've been missing.

With a killer cast (Sydney Chandler, Timothy Olyphant, Essie Davis...), the hype is real—but so is the caution: we want cosmic horror, not cheap fan service. 🚀

🍿 'Kung Fury 2': Arnold riding a dinosaur and the leaked trailer that might just save the movie

📆 Release: TBD
🎭 Genre: #Action · #Comedy · #SciFi
🍿 Follow Movie

Arnold Schwarzenegger riding a T-Rex with a shotgun, Michael Fassbender rocking a mullet and typing with bullets, and David Hasselhoff as a talking car. That’s the kind of madness in the leaked trailer for Kung Fury 2 😱. Shot in 2019 and still unreleased, the film is stuck in legal limbo thanks to investors who bailed on funding 💸.

The 10-minute sizzle reel is a retro-synth fever dream full of Nazis, laser raptors, gun-chucks, and neon-drenched chaos. Sandberg (Kung Fury) put his soul into this — it hurts to see it shelved. Feels like a Deadpool-style push is coming… and honestly, it deserves it.

📺 This YouTuber breaks down the legal mess.
🥂 You can still watch Kung Fury I on YouTube.

🔥 This movie has to be released. For cinema, for justice, for Dino-Mite.

🍿 Project Hail Mary: Too Spoiler-Heavy to Be Epic?

📆 Release: March 20, 2026
🎭 Genre: #SciFi · #Comedy
🍿 Follow movie

I’ll admit the trailer had me on the edge of my seat… until they showed Rocky and killed all the mystery. Ryan Gosling (‘Barbie’, ‘First Man’) is Ryland Grace, the reluctant science teacher turned astronaut tasked with saving our dying sun, and Sandra Hüller (‘Anatomy of a Fall’) is the voice of reason pushing him into the void

Directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’, ‘The Lego Movie’) deliver stunning visuals, but was it necessary to reveal the alien encounter so early? 😤 Some book fans call it “selfish” to lay out the twist, while others praise the clarity and Weir-style humor. To me, this marketing gamble is a high-wire act between surprise and spectacle. 🚀

🍿 The Running Man: Edgar Wright turns America into the ultimate arena 🏃‍♂️🔴

📆 Release: November 7, 2025
🎭 Genre: #SciFi · #Thriller · #Action
🍿 Follow movie

Edgar Wright, the genius behind 'Baby Driver' and 'Shaun of the Dead', finally treats Stephen King’s novel with the grit it deserves. After that first trailer my pulse is still racing. Ben Richards, played by Glen Powell in peak “Bad Mood” form, enters a coast-to-coast manhunt to fund his daughter’s meds. One rule: survive 30 days while the entire country tracks you on their Free-Vees.

Josh Brolin oozes charm and menace as producer Dan Killian, Colman Domingo shines as an over-the-top host, and Michael Cera delivers a jolting cameo that screams pure Wright. Picture 'Escape from New York' mashed with TikTok frenzy, cut at Wright’s turbo rhythm.

Will the movie dare to film the novel’s jaw-dropping ending? I’m lacing up for opening night to find out. 😈

🍿 ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’: They Made Na’vi Villains—and They’re Playing with Fire! 🔥

📆 Release: December 19, 2025
🎭 Genre: #SciFi · #Adventure
✈️ Follow movie

I’ve never been more on edge waiting for a sequel. Just two weeks after Neteyam’s heartbreaking funeral, Jake Sully (Sam Worthington ’Terminator Salvation’, ’Clash of the Titans’) abandons his peacemaker role and reactivates his soldier instincts—because venting grief feels safer with a rifle in hand. Neytiri (Zoe Saldaña ’Guardians of the Galaxy’, ’Star Trek’) stands firm at his side, even as their clan readies for war. Enter Varang (Oona Chaplin ’Game of Thrones’’), leader of the Ash People, who literally commands fire and snarls, ‘Your goddess has no dominion here.’

Seeing Na’vi versus Na’vi pushes Pandora’s stakes to a new level: this scorched-earth tribe feels like Protoss Dark Templars gone rogue. And when Colonel Quaritch (Stephen Lang ’Aliens’, ’Don’t Breathe’) inks an alliance, the moral lines blur deliciously. James Cameron proves once again that, in a world this gorgeous, your biggest enemy might just be your own people. 🎬

🍿 ‘28 Years Later: The Bone Temple’ is shaping up to be the wild and dangerous cousin of the saga

📆 Release: January 16, 2026
🎭 Genre: #Horror · #SciFi · #Thriller
✈️ Follow movie

This direct sequel to 28 Years Later hits the gas from the first minute and never looks back. With Nia DaCosta (Candyman) in the director’s chair and Alex Garland (Ex Machina, Annihilation) on the script, the movie breaks away from the previous film’s emotional tone and dives headfirst into a savage, absurd, and fascinating dystopia.

Ralph Fiennes (The English Patient, The Grand Budapest Hotel) returns as the enigmatic Dr. Kelson, who develops a disturbing relationship with the brutal Samson — the Alpha infected. Meanwhile, Spike (Alfie Williams) is caught between two worlds: the doctor’s, and that of sadistic cult leader Jimmy Crystal (Jack O’Connell), flanked by his gang of platinum-blonde tracksuit-wearing “Jimmies” with a chilling Jimmy Savile inspired look… 🧥🩵

I like how it redefines the enemy: here, the humans are scarier than the infected. Visually, it seems less striking than 28 Years Later.
