šŸ”µ. It was an incredible Sunday in Austin. Starting from pole, I knew the key would be managing the pace early on and keeping everything clean into Turn 1. Once I got off the line, the car felt fantastic, well balanced, stable through the high-speed sections, and really strong on traction out of the slower corners. I quickly found my rhythm and began to build a gap, lap by lap. From there, it was all about consistency and execution. Every pit stop and every tyre phase went according to plan, and I could really push when I needed to. Leading every lap around Circuit of the Americas felt great, especially with the energy from the fans all weekend.

This victory means a lot. It was one of those races where everything just clicked between me and the team with perfect communication, timing, and performance from start to finish. It also helps us close the gap in the championship, giving us more motivation for the final stretch of the season. I’m also happy to see Yuki scoring decent points since the Sprint and managing to climb up the order despite starting from the back. Winning here in Austin, surrounded by passionate fans and such a strong team effort, truly makes this weekend one to remember.

I've had enough time in the industry now, on my own, to understand who I want to be, what I want to do, and what songs I want to write. And I feel like How Did I Get Here? as a whole is a really good advert for how I'm feeling individually, professionally, personally, everything.

I think I had to earn that confidence to be able to lean back into some of the pop sensibility that I might've leaned away from on the previous two records, Walls and Faith in the Future. Because for a long time it was more about me proving a point and showing who I was as an artist, which I'd like to think I've done.

This record is definitely the longest I've ever worked on. It's a really funny feeling, it's really nice to have songs that are just yours, before you give them out to the world. It's a really, really nice feeling. But then that gets to a level, and then you're just so excited for these songs to see the light of day now. In the music industry, and certainly in pop, two years is a huge amount of time.

Now, I just feel comfortable enough to make the right choices for myself. Confident in who I am, and proud of what this record represents.
