🔵. It was a tough but rewarding race here in Mexico City. Starting from the second row, I knew the launch off the line would be crucial, and I actually got away quite well. But heading into Turn 1, things got tight and I had to take avoiding action across the grass, which cost a bit of time and rhythm. The track conditions made it tricky to find grip early on, especially on the medium tyres while others around me were running the softs. That meant the first stint was more about staying calm and preserving the tyres rather than going on the attack. Once we switched to the softs later on, the car came alive, and I was able to push harder and start closing in again.

The balance improved as the race went on, and our strategy was strong overall. Even with the Virtual Safety Car near the end limiting our chances to challenge further, I’m pleased we made the most of what we had and brought the car home in P3. It wasn’t an easy race with the altitude, tyre management, and long stints making it physically demanding, but I enjoyed the fight. Congratulations to the team for their hard work all weekend and to the fans here in Mexico for creating such an incredible atmosphere. I’ll take the positives from this one and keep pushing for more in the upcoming rounds.
