“I don’t even know if I can watch it myself,” 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗲 confessed about the series’ raunchier moments, admitting that despite the safety of intimacy coordinators, the vulnerability of being that exposed on screen still haunts her. But don’t get it twisted — she’s proud of the work, even if she’s secretly praying no one throws a watch party in her honor.

𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗲 also ripped into class divides, recalling her Manchester upbringing and the hunger to escape expectations. That rage, she admits, is exactly what drew her to The Girlfriend — a story about love colliding with privilege.

And when she’s not filming? She’s fighting her “phone monster,” reluctantly clinging to Instagram (since 2020, only for work) and blocking apps just to avoid the spiral. “It can suck the creativity right out of you,” she said.
