🔵 . Racing at Zandvoort this weekend was intense from start to finish. I gave everything at the start, almost lost the car in turn two with all the sand, but managed to stay in the fight. Starting on the softer tyres helped me early on, and after Lando retired, I crossed the line in second place. Still, it was clear we didn’t have the speed compared to the McLarens and even our sister team. In the fast corners I had to lift while others went flat out, which showed exactly where we’re lacking. The hard tyres felt awful in practice, so I committed to running softs and mediums, which gave me a bit more grip and kept me in contention.
Even though the race wasn’t perfect, the experience of standing on the podium at home made it unforgettable. The crowd at Zandvoort was unbelievable—the sea of orange, the cheers, the energy, it truly gave me goosebumps. Sharing that moment with the fans was very special. I also want to congratulate Isack Hadjar on scoring his first-ever F1 podium as a rookie. That’s a huge milestone and he did a great job. Moments like these, with the highs and the challenges, are what make racing so meaningful to me.

In Who What Wear UK’s Autumn 2025 issue, 𝗢𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗲 reminds us why she’s one of Britain’s most compelling stars—not just for her acting range, but for her refreshing candor. Photographed in golden sunlight, the 31-year-old House of the Dragon actress lounges in a simple purple vest top, embodying a quiet confidence that feels both disarming and magnetic. The look—a deliberate shift from her high-fashion layered-fur and green-tights ensemble from earlier in the week—perfectly frames the interview’s central theme: authenticity.
𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗲 speaks openly about her working-class upbringing in Oldham, and how those roots continue to shape her perspective in an industry still dominated by privilege. “I’m not ashamed of where I come from,” she shares, reflecting on the barriers and biases that working-class actors face. Her insights resonate even more when discussing her latest role as Cherry, the ambitious estate agent at the heart of Amazon Prime’s new psychological thriller The Girlfriend. Much like 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗲 herself, Cherry must navigate a world of class divides, ambition, and the often-unseen weight of microaggressions.

But the conversation isn’t only heavy. 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗲 reveals an instinctive warmth—taking the interview call while on holiday, she laughs about “never quite switching off.” This balance between dedication and ease makes her both relatable and enviable: a woman grounded in reality, yet unafraid to dream bigger.
The cover shoot captures exactly that duality. The sunlight, the simplicity of her styling, the serene confidence in her gaze—all of it adds to the sense that 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗲 isn’t trying to be anyone else. She is 𝗢𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗮, unpretentious and unfiltered, a star who shines brightest when she’s entirely herself.
