🔵 . Stepping away from the constant rush to find tranquility by the sea is a powerful reminder that life is so much bigger than the race. Days like these, spent on the water with the people who are my world, offer a perspective that no podium can. The roar of the ocean, the warmth of the sun, and the sound of our laughter create a joy that feels more real and lasting than any trophy.
This trip has been a true recharge for the soul, and every experience has been a source of renewal—from the simple act of holding our little one to the thrill of exploring the coastline. It’s these moments that fuel my passion, proving that the greatest strength comes from balancing ambition with the beautiful, grounding force of family and love.

With over 140 principal cast wigs, detailed prosthetics, and make-up that has weathered blood, sweat, wind, sand, and countless stunt doubles across European locations, the behind-the-scenes artistry has been nothing short of monumental.
At the center of this visual mastery is 𝗢𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗲 as Queen Alicent Hightower. Dressed in intricate gowns and crowned with regal hair designs, 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗲’s portrayal of Alicent embodies the elegance, tension, and political gravitas that define the Green Queen’s role in the Dance of the Dragons. Her commanding screen presence is elevated by the Emmy-worthy work of Rosalia Culora for the hair designer, Amanda Knight for make-up designer.
𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗲’s portrayal Alicent remains one of the most visually striking and emotionally layered characters in the series, reminding audiences that in Westeros, appearances carry as much weight as power itself.

In an exclusive interview with The Observer UK, 𝗢𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗲 sits down as this week’s guest star to reflect on her remarkable journey — from a Manchester teenager defying her first agent’s doubts to becoming one of Britain’s most compelling screen talents.
𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗲 recalls the moment she left her local agency for London, only to be warned she’d be “a very small fish in a massive pond.” Her defiant response — “I’ll show you!” — has since been backed up by an eclectic career spanning Steven Spielberg’s Ready Player One, the acclaimed Sound of Metal, and now global recognition as Alicent Hightower in HBO’s House of the Dragon.
Speaking to The Observer UK over herbal tea in a sweltering east London café, 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗲 is candid about the challenges of sudden fame, her refusal to watch her own work (“it’s torture”), and her latest role in Amazon’s upcoming thriller The Girlfriend. Starring alongside Robin Wright, she plays Cherry, a character she describes as “ambitious, magnetic and morally wonky.”
With her quick wit, restless honesty, and ability to bring nuance to every role, 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗲 proves once again why she’s not just surviving the Hollywood pond — she’s quietly becoming one of its brightest stars.
