In a recent exclusive with Architectural Digest, acclaimed actor ๐๐ผ๐ผ๐ธ๐ฒ opened the doors to her beautifully transformed 1860s Victorian home in East London. With a clear vision in mind, ๐๐ผ๐ผ๐ธ๐ฒ described her interior design brief as โan old cigar-slash-โ70s shag padโ while also longing for a subtle โJapanese-slash-chรขteau vibe.โ
Collaborating with interior designers Lisa Jones and Ruby Kean of the London and New York based firm Atelier LK, ๐๐ผ๐ผ๐ธ๐ฒ achieved a space that feels both rebellious and deeply grounding. A home that carries her spirit with understated grace. Warm wood tones, clean modern lines, and nostalgic textures create an atmosphere that feels inviting yet elegant, casual yet refined.
Known globally for her role as Queen Alicent Hightower in House of the Dragon, ๐๐ผ๐ผ๐ธ๐ฒ shows a different side here, one of quiet confidence and creative intimacy. As she sat effortlessly in pinstripe trousers and a simple tank top, her surroundings reflected the same balance: unpretentious sophistication with a touch of artistic rebellion.
This home is not just a living space; it is a portrait of her essence, a place that whispers of old souls, cinematic stories, and sunlit mornings spent in quiet reflection.

In life sometimes you do not turn the page, you write the headline. Voguing in the โThe New Headlinersโ cover which appeared digitally on the pages of VOGUE Korea is like that. The center of attention is me, every theme in this shoot presented a story. Be it the dramatic grace of a red lip, clipped hair, clean lined maturity of modern womanhood and femininity or the fanciful juxtaposition of the ancient statue of male dress and the modern figure of self-determination nothing felt but a chorus of redefining or rewriting. Every take was an opportunity to break the eye, face my border, and show who I am, and who I would be.

Iโm so thrilled to be joining the Before The Lights podcast for the second time. It feels like such a full-circle moment โ I was one of their first guests back in season one, and seeing how far both the podcast and my own journey have come since then is truly special.
From my days of quiet auditions to stepping into the world of House of The Dragon as Alicent Hightower, itโs been a whirlwind of growth and learning. Before The Lights has always felt like a safe, honest space to share parts of myself that often stay behind the scenes.
I canโt wait for you to hear this conversation. It was real, grounding, and filled with reflections on life, art, and everything in between. Thank you for having me back.
