It is somehow empowering to enter a form of yourself that you never witnessed before. The collaboration with W Korea and Dolce & Gabbana, it is the passion that I walked into, a way through which I have come to realize the world, and myself. In the clothes, on those streets, in quiet break between camera shots, I discovered a side of me that is quieter and more powerful, posh and still-rooted, a tamer and mostly cooler person. The mood is in each and every frame of this editorial, the chapter is the same, always: mine. The traditional profile of the nipped-in waists and a floaty skirt, to bigger prints and aggressively cut garments, every creation was a balance of opposites, or rather of the opposites. And it is at that point I excel. I am that duality. Being on such a cover, as the world ambassador of Dolce & Gabbana is a complete circle moment. It reminds me of how far I have got in life and how much I have grown. This problem, this book, reflects a time in my life when I have been able to change without being afraid. It is only one segment of the process, but it is a part I will never forget.
