Tough Weekend in Bahrain, but Eyes on the Future

🔵. The Bahrain Grand Prix was far from what I had hoped. Starting from P7, things went downhill pretty quickly—lost a place right at the start, then got hit with a pit light issue and some painfully slow stops. The hard tyres gave me nothing to work with, and the car felt completely off. I couldn’t brake properly, couldn’t turn in the way I needed to, and traction was basically non-existent. I gave it everything I could, and still managed to grab a few points after a last-lap move on Gasly, but it definitely wasn’t the race I wanted.

I know the team did their best, but clearly we’ve got work to do. The tyre degradation hit us hard, and the overall balance just wasn’t where it needed to be. It’s frustrating, sure—but it’s also a wake-up call. I’m staying focused, and I’m hopeful things will turn around in Jeddah. That circuit should be a better fit for us, and I’m ready to bounce back stronger.
