They have five wins in eight games and need three wins in their remaining six games to qualify for the playoffs. The wins over CSK have certainly made them a strong contender to qualify for playoffs.

Meanwhile, the game against RR will be a tough one for LSG. RR are flying high after seven wins in eight games. A win over LSG will make them qualify for the playoffs. The conditions in Lucknow have favoured spinners thus RR won’t feel much pressure of an away game. In Chahal and Ashwin, they have two class operators. Also, the form of Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sanju Samson, Riyan Parag make their batting look strong.

Gujarat Titans have been one of the most inconsistent sides in this year’s IPL so far and they lost a very tight contest against Delhi Capitals in their last match. However, they have plenty of batting depth and they will fancy their chances against RCB at home.

They need four wins in the remaining six games to qualify for the playoffs. CSK, however, should not be under pressure as they have a good team and are very capable of getting on a winning run. Also, the home conditions will be a massive advantage against SRH due to their better spin attack.

Meanwhile, SRH suffered a defeat against RCB in previous game. SRH have been ruthless with the bat, posting 250+ scores a few times this season already, however, the approach they follow can at times make their batting collapse, exactly what happened against RCB. SRH have five wins in eight games and they need to win three out of their remaining six to qualify for playoffs. CSK have a great bowling attack so SRH will not find it easy beating CSK and that's for granted.

KKR thought they were home and dry after posting 261/6 batting first against Punjab Kings on Friday but the pitch seemed to get easier to bat on as the match progressed and they lost with 8 balls remaining. We can expect an even more aggressive batting approach in this game as a result.
