PENJELASAN BADAN POM RI

Tentang

VIRALNYA SURAT INTERNAL

HASIL PENGUJIAN SAMPEL SUPLEMEN MAKANAN

Sehubungan dengan viralnya surat dari Balai Besar POM di Mataram kepada Balai POM di Palangka Raya tentang Hasil Pengujian Sampel Uji Rujuk Suplemen Makanan Viostin DS dan Enzyplex tablet, Badan POM RI perlu memberikan penjelasan sebagai berikut:

1. Sampel produk yang tertera dalam surat tersebut adalah Viostin DS produksi PT. Pharos Indonesia dengan nomor izin edar (NIE) POM SD.051523771 nomor bets BN C6K994H, dan Enzyplex tablet produksi PT Medifarma Laboratories dengan NIE DBL7214704016A1 nomor bets 16185101.

2. Berdasarkan hasil pengawasan terhadap produk yang beredar di pasaran (post-market vigilance) melalui pengambilan contoh dan pengujian terhadap parameter DNA babi, ditemukan bahwa produk di atas terbukti positif mengandung DNA Babi.

3. Badan POM RI telah menginstruksikan PT. Pharos Indonesia dan PT Medifarma Laboratories untuk menghentikan produksi dan/atau distribusi produk dengan nomor bets tersebut.PT.

4. Pharos Indonesia telah menarik seluruh produk Viostin DS dengan NIE dan nomor bets tersebut dari pasaran, serta menghentikan produksi produk Viostin DS.

5. PT Medifarma Laboratories telah menarik seluruh produk Enzyplex tablet dengan NIE dan nomor bets tersebut dari pasaran.

6. Sebagai langkah antisipasi dan perlindungan konsumen, Badan POM RI menginstruksikan Balai Besar/Balai POM di seluruh Indonesia untuk terus memantau dan melakukan penarikan produk yang tidak memenuhi ketentuan, termasuk yang terdeteksi positif (+) mengandung DNA babi, namun tidak mencantumkan peringatan “MENGANDUNG BABI”.

7. Badan POM RI secara rutin melakukan pengawasan terhadap keamanan, khasiat/manfaat, dan mutu produk dengan pengambilan sampel produk beredar, pengujian di laboratorium, serta tindak lanjut hasil pengawasan.

Masyarakat dihimbau untuk tidak resah dengan beredarnya surat ini.
