Just like how everything has its starting point, we started sometime in 2020 when everyone thought it would be just a fun, temporary time to have each other around. For most of it, things were fairly low maintenance. However, our journey officially reached its formal fruition a year later in 2021. Now, it’s five years later—yes, five, apparently—and the mansion is still standing, proud and tall. The memories we share are louder than ever, and nobody truly dotes on the anniversary count anymore. Some say it’s the fourth, while others believe it’s the fifth. Who’s really keeping track when we’re just here to support each other every day, anyway? After long, weary days, no matter how busy each of us gets, this is where everyone circles back to. Not every episode was perfect—some days felt like filler arcs, honestly—but the main cast stayed, even as some left to pursue greater lengths and heights.

As mentioned before, somewhere between 2020 and 2021, this family happened slowly, accidentally, but most probably fated. Alongside mismatched timelines and a collective inability to agree on dates, somehow the math adds up to a round total of 1,826 days of shared space, food, silence, and comfort. The kind you only notice and appreciate if you’re part of the routine. Years blur, episodes stack, people change, but some things don’t. Some family members still talk too much, others still listen better than they argue. The mixture of everything, more often than not, creates a chaos unlike any other. This mansion of ours, eventually, remains the place everyone knows how to come back to. 💚

There’s Vienna, the heart of it all, love made human form who holds everyone together even on the messiest days. Flint, always earnest and wholesome, the glue that holds moments together without asking for credit. Sonya, steady and unwavering, the calm presence that keeps the family moving forward. Nathea, gentle yet always sleepy somehow even after almost half a day of slumber, a quiet reminder that tenderness and rest are just as important as hustles. Anona, the quiet backbone who’s caring in ways that often go unnoticed but still cherished. Lorelei, the one who laughs first then aid comfort during random times of daily family banters. Milano, effortlessly cool, pretending not to care while always showing up exactly when needed. Last but not least, Angie, cherished beyond words as the youngest, carrying that softness only she could as she anchors everyone else.

They’ve grown, changed, argued, laughed, drifted, and returned. Above all, they remained. Not just names on a wall, but people who turned time into memories. A testimony that the family of Vaughns is still here with stories that shall continue even further into the future. 🍀

Every year comes with its own set of very important discussions inside of the mansion. Some heartfelt, some questionable, and some that absolutely did not need to be debated for weeks.
