The indulgent afternoon had finally given us the chance to gather together. I, Lorth's Aou, came along with my spoiled sibling, Lorth's Woojin. We waited at the place we had agreed on, and not long after, Hutchinson’s Pond arrived together with Scalden’s William, carrying plenty of toys for us to play with. Soon after, Ppkrit’s Loughrey, Heisenberg’s Keen, Vansent’s Boom, and Thimblea’s William showed up, each of them carrying an absurd amount of food. Then Mertzlan’s Pond arrived, panting heavily as if he had been left behind.

We spread out a blanket first, since our plan was to have a picnic. We sat side-by-side near the lake, and just a few minutes later, Schafer’s Chaewon arrived alongside her little sibling, Schafer’s Paeyah, carrying a tote-bag filled with books.

As the gentle breeze danced across the lake, the atmosphere slowly filled with laughter and overlapping voices. Some of us immediately reached for the food, some got distracted by the toys, while others sat quietly flipping through the books Chaewon had brought. The afternoon felt strangely perfect in its own simple way.
