(1) The sound of fireworks outside, although not too loud, is quite noticeable. (2) A cup left on the table, still warm. (3) A quiet corner that is used often. (4) Time on the wrist, with pages that are already worn. (5) The city continues to move, even in the rain. (6) Sitting still for a while, letting the noise fade.

After everything that has happened, it would be understandable to expect more of a change or to expect the beginning to be more dramatic. Instead, it is a calm step forward, taking things as they come, and letting the year unfold naturally. There is no pressure to rush, and no need to prove anything.
