What started as a simple trip to the bookstore, browsing shelves and stacking paperbacks on the floor, turned into an all-day hangout. After pausing on the pavement to snap a quick reflection selfie against a storefront window, Morthenβs Ni-ki took the lead toward a hidden gem spot heβd been wanting to check out. Following him up a quiet staircase, they finally arrived at a hidden manga cafe behind a traditional wooden sliding door. They settled into a cozy booth, grabbed iced drinks, and spent the rest of the day flipping through volumes of Attack on Titan while Geldartβs Rei took a breather across the table.

Yet in truth, it is the chamber wherein mortal flesh and vampire blood wage their silent war. For approximately three nights, the candidate remaineth within this hall. As the blood coursing through their veins seeketh harmony with their mortal vessel, the House observeth.
Not only the strength of their answers.
But their conduct.
Their kindness.
Their temperament.
Their loyalty.
Their ability to exist amongst future parents, uncles, aunties, and children of the Geldart bloodline. For immortality without kinship is but an endless loneliness.
