@motherangel and Isaiah were just schoolmates oh but there was something there. She was the calm and observant type who always find a reason to linger after class or hang around the library, asking him stuff that slowly got him talking. In class they just clicked and after school they’d end up by the gates longer than planned, talking. Neither of them made it obvious but they really do enjoy each other's presence. Made the whole school thing feel a bit more bearable.

@YoonchaeDanvers and Isaiah had that kind of dynamic where blunt honesty was basically how they showed they were friends. She’d hunt him down in the halls with some questions about whatever was going on at school, already knowing she’d get the most unfiltered take possible, and he delivered every time. She matched his energy without missing a beat and he was clearly into that. Her being expressive and loud somehow pulled the humor out of him more.

@DeadlyGrief and Isaiah were the type of schoolmates who could make a random hallway moment feel like a seminar. She had this way of just dropping a heavy question out of nowhere and he never flinched from it. They didn’t really need to fill the silence either. A look across the classroom when something meaningful came up was enough. Just two people who thought similarly about things that most people their age weren’t really thinking about yet finding it weirdly easy to be around each other because of that.

@sweetoves and Isaiah had that quiet kind of closeness that mostly lived in places like library corners, empty stairwells, whatever after-school space happened to be free. She'd just appear sharing some fragment of a thought or pulling him toward a spot where she’d left an anonymous note for no particular reason. He’d go quiet in a way that felt like listening and somehow she’d feel like he’d seen exactly what she meant even when she barely finished the sentence.
